Day 1: Nairobi, transfer to Maasai Mara

You are warmly welcomed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi. During your Transfer to historic Wilson Airport, receive a “Karibu Briefing” (Welcome Briefing), then Board your Safarilink Flight to the Maasai Mara.

Overnight at your home for the next spectacular 4 nights, Entim Camp. Flight times permitting, arrive in time for your first Evening Game Drive!

Maasai Mara:

Kenya’s most famous Wildlife Area‚ the Maasai Mara National Reserve, offers some of Africa’s best year-round Game Viewing. The Reserve is permanent home to exceptional and abundant wildlife, such as over 100 mammal species. These include including the Big Five - Lion, Leopard, Rhinoceros, Elephant, and Cape Buffalo, as well as over 450 bird species.

The Maasai Mara‚ designated a National Reserve in 1974‚ is part of the greater Serengeti Mara ecosystem. The Reserve’s name comes from the Maasai‚ a nomadic Nilotic people famed as warriors‚ and Mara‚ meaning “mottled” in Maasai Language‚ a reference to the unique appearance of the Savannah Plains.

Days 2  - 4: Maasai Mara

Your next 4 days will be spent at the exclusive Entim Camp on the Mara River. Entim includes 12 new luxury en-suite guest rooms,  raised on wooden decks overlooking the Mara River.

As you enjoy Early Morning and Evening Game Drives (when the animals are most active!), your experienced Wildlife Guides will introduce you to one of the most famous places on Earth, the Maasai Mara.

From your Luxury Tent, you may hear the sounds of Grunting Gnu, Hippos, Hyenas, and roaring Lions.

Please note: As you are so close to the African Wildlife, Maasai Warriors must escort you to your room after Dinner and Drinks around the Camp Fire. Of course, you’ll find a hot water bottle warming the bed.

Days 5 - 9:

Today you depart the Maasai Mara, taking a Flight to Malindi and transfer to Watamu, The Medina Palms, your safe, luxurious home for the next 5 nights.

Malindi is a town located on the Malindi Bay at the mouth of the Sabaki River, on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya. Malindi is 120 kilometres northeast of Mombasa.

Watamu:

Watamu is a beautiful and peaceful village on the Kenya Coast, nestled between Pristine Beaches and Lush Tropical Forest. Known for its unique, relaxed, and laid back way of life, Watamu welcomes visitors seeking to chill out and explore this home to the only Five Star Resort in the North Coast of Kenya – your Medina Palms.
